My life has always been about rhythm—each chapter taught me how to listen, adapt, and create harmony, no matter the stage I was on.
My real estate journey began when I moved from California to Nashville to pursue a career in, of all things, music. My dad was a jazz musician who played the trumpet and the vibraphone (look it up—it’s a cool instrument). I grew up taking drum lessons from Frank Sinatra’s drummer and am self-taught in piano and guitar. By age 14, I had my first professional gig. I loved not just playing but composing and even wrote music for film and television. Nashville, with its creative pulse and endless opportunities, felt like the place where my dreams could take shape.
What prepared me for life in Nashville was that, in a way, I knew tragedy early on. When I was eight, my mom’s lungs collapsed—an experience that would forever shape me. I still remember her cough waking me in the middle of the night; she was gasping for help. My sister panicked, and I told her to stay in her room while I called an ambulance. From that night on, my mom’s health steadily declined. My dad and I became her caretakers, so by age eight, I had more responsibilities than most kids. That’s also how I developed my caretaker mentality.
My mom passed away when I was twenty, and within 18 months, I also lost my oldest sister. The grief was heavy, and it changed my outlook on life even more. Suddenly, small frustrations and everyday dramas didn’t seem so important anymore. Their passing gave me perspective.
So I moved to Nashville with a caretaker’s mindset, a strong sense of responsibility, and a hunger to make every day count. I knew pursuing music might not pay the bills, so I got certified as a personal trainer to support myself. It was a natural fit—I’d played basketball and tennis in college and even captained the team. Fitness became both a passion and a practical path.
What started as a side job quickly grew. My client list expanded, and before long, I teamed up with other trainers and built a team. Meanwhile, my music career wasn’t taking off the way I’d hoped, and after a few heartbreaks in the industry, I realized where my energy belonged.
I poured myself into fitness and eventually co-founded Nashville’s largest health club: BOOST FitClub, which was named
Nashville’s best health club for 9 years in a row. We offered everything under one roof: a gym, pool, café, physical therapy, gymnastics, dance and even training programs for college football players preparing for the NFL.
My transition into real estate came naturally when, in 2012, I teamed up with a group of developers to purchase a once-thriving tennis club that was a struggling business. The developers built townhomes on the old courts, and I sold many of them myself. That experience hooked me; I got my real estate license and never looked back.
I began as a solo agent and have since built a team of 12 agents, with plans for continued growth, and eventually created my team called NASHVILLE HOME, based out of Benchmark Realty. We’ve been named the Best Real Estate Team in Williamson County, and I’ve been recognized as ‘Best Agent’ since 2022. As a mentor, I make it my mission to validate and empower my team—to help them believe in themselves.
Outside of work, I still write music when inspiration strikes, and I spend as much time as I can with my three sons: Caden, Maverick, and Beck. Caden, the oldest, is already in law school at twenty. Maverick is studying business finance, and Beck, who’s seven, loves sports and people—just like me. They’re bright, driven, and my greatest source of pride.
Looking back, I see how every experience prepared me for this career. Music taught me creativity, fitness taught me discipline, and loss taught me empathy. Real estate lets me bring all of that together—to help people find not just a beautiful house, but a place where life feels in harmony.
